Harper Frey is an indie writer who creates stories to escape into. Stories teeming with magic, darkness, sweetness, and swoon-worthy book boyfriends.

In high school, Harper found a love of writing when a teacher read her tale of first-love woes and misadventures and said, "You've got a knack for this. You could do it for a living." She brushed him off, still trying to figure out what to do with her life, but the words wriggled into her heart and hibernated until she was ready for them to wake. 

And wake they did after a life change left her with the urge to escape into new worlds of danger, adventure, magic, and love. Now, you can find Harper scheming about any of the dozens of worlds percolating in her head and plotting how she can make her readers laugh, cry and scream at the page next. 

She wonders what her creative writing teacher would think about all of this. Though, her particular brand of spice may be a bit much for him.
